Sant Nischal Singh Public School, an institute dedicated to the cause of education was established in the sacred memory of Sant Pandit Nischal Singh Ji Maharaj. Sant ji had a firm belief that social upliftment can only be possible through education. So, he always laid stress on education as service to humanity. It was his long cherished dream to open a public school of repute which would impart education not only on modern techniques but where ethical, mental, physical and spiritual values are also taken care of. A concrete shape was given to his dream by the trust formed in his name under the able guidance and leadership of Dr. Waryam Singh ji and thus with his untiring and unstinted efforts Sant Nischal Singh Public School came into existence in 1979 in a make shift arrangement in Guru Nanak High School with 248 students on roll.
SNSPS is the first school in the vicinity and second in the state to be accredited with ISO-9001-2000 certification. The school is also affiliated to Cambridge University, London through British Council, New Delhi. Moreover it has also been declared the central hub by the Cambridge University to conduct YLE, KET, PET, FCE and TKT exams. For the exposure of the students globally, the school is also a part of Global Gateway Programme under the Department for international Development sanctioned by British Council for teachers and students. Realizing the value of the dictum “A Sound Mind resides in a Sound Body”, the school provides to its students play grounds for all major games. The school has to its credit a semi Olympic size Swimming Pool of International standard with imported filters and two kidney shape pools for the little ones.
